Jochanan Eynikel
Jochanan Eynikel (1981) holds master degrees in Philosophy and Audiovisual Journalism. His work explores the intersection of ethics, philosophy and economics. He is the author of Check-In, Robot aan het Stuur and Morele Intuïtie.
JOCHANAN EYNIKEL, BUSINESS PHILOSOPHER
Jochanan Eynikel, Business Philosopher at Etion, is a sought-after speaker and author on business ethics and technology ethics. He has a unique ability to build bridges between ethics, philosophy and business.
With an academic background that includes master degrees in Philosophy (KU Leuven and Stellenbosch University) and Audiovisual Journalism (Erasmus University College Brussels), he combines intellectual depth with a strong communication style, both on stage and in writing.
With his fresh, interactive approach and many years of experience in group facilitation, Jochanan has guided numerous organisations on their journey towards values-driven entrepreneurship.

Publications
Jochanan is the author of three books. In his latest work, Morele Intuïtie (LannooCampus, 2025), he explains how moral decision-making works and what this means for organisations in a complex world.
His earlier book Robot aan het Stuur (LannooCampus, 2017) explores the ethical and societal challenges of AI and robotisation. This debut put him on the shortlist for Management Book of the Year in 2018.
In Check-In. Op zoek naar zin en betekenis in bedrijven (LannooCampus, 2020), Jochanan looks into the growing need for meaning and purpose in work and the economy. The book was longlisted for Management Book of the Year 2021.
